Scott Barella has been a wonderful and informed asset to me while i navigate a rather contentious divorce. His insight to human interactions and personality traits that appear during such a situation as mine has been very helpful to me getting through my situation. Scott Barrella is the cornerstone of the Cornerstone Counseling Center. The man is a dynamo and does just about everything single-handedly. Need an emergrancy appointment? Scott's there, usually in minutes. Need a critical report written in record time? Scott will throw his personal weekend plans to the wind and focus on you. Your problems are his problems and he is a great problem solver. He's not the nampy-pampy type who will coddle you just because you think you're a special snowflake. But what he does, and does well, is listen, digest, analyze, and then quickly begins working with you on pragmatic actions and solutions to your issues. He will challenge your thinking when it is warrented and will praise you when your thinking about an issue is spot on. His no-nonsense style is unique but in my experience it is far more valuable in the pursuit of progress as contrasted with those therapists who nod their head a lot in agreemnt with you and say a lot of nice things. The bottom line is Scott Barrella gets things done when others don't.

Scott really knows his stuff and teaches it well. It's awesome what you will learn if you listen and follow the lessons.

I came to Scott with a lot of anxiety about being a first-time father. He was very knowledgeable and gave me the tools to overcome my problem. Scott is very professional and very easy to talk to. If I could give Scott six stars I would. I definitely recommend Scott to anyone.

Scott is the best therapist for co parenting. Over a decade I have taken both his anger management and co custody parenting classes. I bought Scotts co parenting book and can guarantee you I will be using it as much as possible to guide me through raising my daughter and dealing with a difficult ex wife.

This past year has been an extremely tough one and there is no way I could have gotten through it without Scott. Scott and his team are top notch counselors. I learned a tremendous amount. I highly recommend them. Also make sure you get registered ahead of the ex. Books and education is valuable. Stay strong positive and the therapy and classes will help!

Scott was wonderful. I was very anxious about attending. After my first session, I looked forward to it. Now that it's over, I miss it. Scott is kind, gentle and understanding. He is not judgey. He made me feel validated about my good choices and shed light on how to handle and navigate extremely difficult obstacles. He gave me new tools that enabled me to handle an impossible situation. On top of all of that, he was flexible and accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend Scott and Cornerstone Counselling!!!!!

They are specialist in working through difficult family and individual problems and finding creative and workable solutions to the most difficult circumstances.
